BP has been in Russia for over 20 years. It takes a variety of people to ensure we continue to grow as a competitive and successful business

We have played a major part in the development of Russia’s oil and gas sector. As one of the country’s largest foreign investors, we’ve worked with local partners and invested in advanced technologies and expertise to ensure Russia realises its enormous energy potential.

Our business interests in Russia are focused on several key areas:

In March 2013, after completing the deal to sell our share in TNK-BP to Rosneft, we have become a 19.75% shareholder in the leading Russian oil company. We are looking forward to the opportunity to forge a long and successful partnership with Rosneft.

Setra Lubricants markets and distributes BP and Castrol-branded lubricants across Russia and other former Soviet Union republics. We also own Baltic Petroleum, based in St Petersburg, which supplies marine lubricants to the domestic shipping market.

The Air BP representative office in Moscow enables us to focus on our relationships with our partners, be they customers, airport operators or other third parties, to understand their specific requirements and seek out innovative and flexible solutions to meet those requirements.

Integrated Supply and Trading (IST) is one of our trading arms and sources more than 40 million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products from Russia and the CIS each year.

To compete in these complex sectors, we aim to attract people with world-class capabilities. Join us and you’ll discover a wide range of stimulating career opportunities with a diverse, innovative and highly successful organisation.
