Advising corporate clients on corporate transactions, including: M&A, Private Equity, ECM and Venture Capital.







Description

This role will suit a personable, ambitious lawyer, with strong BD and networking skills, who is looking to be close to the business in a position where input and ideas are both valued and encouraged. He or she can expect a broad workload, advising on AIM listings through to IPOs, as well as high levels of client interaction. The successful candidate must have experience of ECM transactions. Proving guidance on the application and interception of FCA Rules, AIM Rules, Takeover Code and corporate governance/ investor guidelines. Maintaining strong direct relationships with clients. ECM Transaction execution. Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly. Failure to do so may subject you to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Preparing operating materials to include executive summaries, market and sector updates, transaction structure overviews, offer size considerations, timetable options and credentials. Maintain IPO, Rights issues, Convertibles and other databases. structuring, negotiation and execution of financing solutions to meet requirements of clients Must-have: Graduation or Higher degree preferably in Finance Solid grounding in ECM, Equity Derivatives and Corporate Banking Nice-to-have: CFA Qualification Product/Sector knowledge
