Operations in Goldman Sachs Group is the key division that develops the processes and controls for every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed by the Firm. YOUR IMPACT Operations team in Moscow is a dynamic division that supports Russia related business of Goldman Sachs Group providing a wide range of Operational services - trade support, settlement, liquidity management, regulatory reporting, risk management for various financial products traded by the Firm - derivatives, FX, Securities. We partner with all parts of the Firm to maintain the highest operational standards of Goldman Sachs. Moscow Operations team is looking for a highly motivated and talented candidate to work in an Operations analyst capacity. Primary Responsibilities Support processes related to securities, derivatives, and currencies transactions within Operations as well as Transactional and Regulatory reporting Liaise with trading, sales, sales middle office, operations, settlements, to resolve trade/settlement exceptions Monitor and control operational risk throughout the trade processing life cycle Support all securities and cash movements to ensure they meet the Regulations set out by the Central Bank of Russia Process and suitably store all required documentation relating to the supported activity as indicated by the Central Bank and the Firm policies Liaise with various internal departments including legal, compliance and controllers to ensure all regulatory and internal requirements are fully understood and met Work with technology and business partners to enhance systems and workflows. Participate in Operations and Business initiatives Basic Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree Relevant work experience Fluent English and Russian 1.0 FSFM certificate Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of trade documentation, local Regulations, industry standards Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to work under pressure Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills along with the ability to use discretion and good judgment Ability to balance tactical and strategic thinking Highest attention to detail Risk management focus Strong work ethic Highly collaborative and team-focused with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals Project management, change management or process improvement experience is a plus Competency MS Office Suite, and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly
