Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - India, New Delhi

Job Purpose: Oversees all technical aspects and technological resources of the bank for the purpose of sustaining efficient operations and organisational growth. Establishes a technological vision for an organisation and leads the bank's technological development. Job Duties: Overseas back-office and IT operations of the bank Maintains functionality of the Core Banking System and other Technology Systems Supports Business Development of partnerships with Financial Technology companies Works with other departments and the Head Office to use current and new technologies to streamline bank policies and rules Conducts research to improve the technological assets of a bank Oversees IT budgets to make sure there are no unnecessary expenditures Develops and directs all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information Develops and implements all external and internal communication systems, such as payment, data exchange, email, messaging and others Plans and implements proper Internet usage policies for employees Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions Uses technological assets to help ease use for employees and clients Manages any digital assets Consistently evaluates technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary Makes presentations to board of directors and chief executive officer Develops and enhances a bank's website to increase site traffic Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a bank Directs the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans Skills and Qualifications: At least Bachelor s Degree or higher 7 years or more experience in IT 2 years or more experience in Financial service Management experience is preferable Flexcube expertise is preferable Good understanding of banking operations Excellent English Advanced IT Knowledge, Critical Thinking, Financial Services, Interpersonal Skills, Motivator, Technological Analysis, Website Development, Research, Business, Computational Skills, Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills, Presentations, Team Building, Industry Knowledge, IT Terminology, Computer Network Development and Maintenance, Client Management
