Finance controller for a fashion retail company

Description: Support the monthly and yearly closing process, quarterly financial reporting process and the full budgeting activities with relevant reporting/decks to country manager and HQ Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and policies Communicate and provide support to external representatives (auditors, tax inspectors, advisers, etc.) Support the global finance team with operational, technical accounting, compliance and financial reporting matters Ensure proper payroll management in cooperation with provider and HR department Ensure reports P&L with different levels of details Provide support to local Russian management team through business intelligence and understanding, ensuring pertinent business decisions Animate Price list increases and Gross to Net management until formal approval Support HQ Finance team in implementing sales and margin analysis at month end for the Russian business: analyzing net sales and profit evolution vs. LY and OPC, by channel of trade/brands/customers Assist the local team in building their budgets at appropriate detailed level Participate to ad-hoc projects or requests (growth or saving plans, product launch, investments, etc.) Accounting Organization of the bookkeeping in the accounting software 1C with the outsourcing company Issuance of sales documents (invoice, delivery note TORG-12, VAT invoice) Expense reports (business trips, out of pockets, representation expenses) Preparation of payment orders in the internet banking system Assistance with currency control obligations (business passports, certificates of currency Preferred Skills: Bachelor s Degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university Minimum 5 years accounting, finance, controllership or audit experience, in multinational companies Big 4 public accounting firm audit experience Strong understanding of IFRS GAAP standards Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex accounting and reporting matters Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively at all levels within a matrix organization Experience with SAP Fluent in English
