Senior Knowledge Analyst - Public Sector

In this role you will join as (Senior) Knowledge Analyst depending on the level of experience. The position is based in the Moscow office. You will work with and support our consulting team and clients by providing expertise in case situations and will contribute to the knowledge development.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Work with consulting case and proposal teams

• Serving as the go-to knowledge expert for consulting teams working on Public Sector engagements, with a mix of local & global work
• Providing expertise and customized research for client work, including both current consulting case engagements and business development efforts
• Delivering original analysis and insights to case teams; providing thought partnership to case team leaders
• Partnering with case teams to identify and address critical knowledge needs
• Working with case teams to collect, synthesize, and analyze case team insights into new content
• Acting as a thought partner, establishing credibility with case teams and provides problem solving & topic/sector expertise insights
• Reviewing & assessing the relevancy of documents in existing topic/sector-related knowledge base
• Capturing, codifying & maintaining knowledge content

Work with topic/sector teams in a leading role

• Collaborating & maintaining the development of new knowledge through participation in Tier1s & knowledge infrastructure projects, database, surveys, etc.
• Controlling quality & supervising contribution and updates to existing topic/sector knowledge base
• Developing content for go-to-market materials
• Promoting innovation at BCG by identifying knowledge capture opportunities
• Contributing to building sector/topic teams and suggests emerging topic/sectors based on client demand

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor Degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred (ideally in a quantitative field like economics)
• 2+ years of working for/with Russian Public Sector
• Understanding of Russian (and general CIS) Public Sector landscape, challenges and major transformation trends
• Strong work ethic and service mentality
• Solid analytical skills and ability to provide analytical advice
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple parallel tasks
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a large, global organization
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual team
• Strong interpersonal skills and credibility
• Collaborative, team player
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when needed
• Fluency in Russian and English, both written and spoken
