Corporate Finance Associate

goetzpartners is seeking a full-time Associate to support its M&A team in Moscow.

As an Associate your are co-responsible for the execution of merger and acquisitions and corporate finance projects. You will furthermore conduct financial analyses, in particular M&A valuations. Additionally, you will work on memoranda and presentations and participate in client meetings. As a member of the project team you will mostly work independently and will function as a contact person for the client in all matters related to your sub-project.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Outstanding university degree in economics/finance

- Minimum three (3) year of professional experience in investment banking/private equity/valuation

- Strong understanding of financial statements

- Knowledge of valuation methodology and techniques

- Advanced MS Excel, Power Point and Word skills

- Keen analytical and technical skills

- Attention to details, ability to work with huge bulks of information

- Ability to cope with stress, willingness to learn and enthusiasm

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Russian

- CFA level 1 will be an advantage
