Описание

Our team is looking for a strong Full stack Web developer to work on important internal web services which are critical to the firm. The right candidate will have the ability to advance the architecture and onboarding of these applications, as well as drive future project directions and architecture as it is integrated through significant parts of the firm.

 

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to, the following):

  • Develop/Maintain internal web applications on cloud (such as AWS, GCP) and on premise.
  • Create/Present design specifications
  • Write well designed, testable code by using state of the art software development practices
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Be an active member of an agile engineering team who is continuously looking to improve team performance.
  • Automate CI/CD processes.
  • Monitor and analyze platform reliability and performance and develop improvements.
  • Work with leading open-source technologies (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, ELK stack, Sentry, Redis, Git, etc.).

 

Job requirements:

  • Expertise in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask and others
  • Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software web applications
  • Working experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Experience with Kubernetes or distributed systems is plus
  • Finance experience is not required

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with popular JavaScript libraries and tools such as React.js, jQuery, NPM
  • Experience with CI/CD and version control systems
  • Experience with GCP
  • Experience with micro-services, caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, queuing systems
  • A solid background in Unix/Linux environment
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
