Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working in an analytical, research, problem solving, project management or consulting roles.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently and idiomatically.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in an analytical, research, problem solving, project management or consulting role.
  • Ability to work closely with sales teams and clients and influence key stakeholders across all levels (especially C-level).
  • Ability to present to audiences of various seniority and backgrounds (commercial/technical).
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with effective time-management, prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business problems into analysis frameworks and translate analysis results back into business recommendations.

As one of the masterminds behind our strategic planning, forecasting and analysis, you’ll spend your time digging into big, complex data sets. The data will not remain inert in your hands, however, since you’ll use your critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to influence and drive thoughtful and well-informed decision making with our most senior business leaders within the organization, and potentially some of our biggest clients.

In this role, you'll partner with industry managers and account managers as well as executives to build and present integrated business and media opportunities based on industry trends and insights from our wealth of data. You will conduct exploratory analyses as well as in-depth modeling on data, translating your data-driven insights into concrete business recommendations. You'll also connect customer generated data with Google tools to drive both businesses. This is an analysis-oriented and creative position that requires a sharp, rigorous mind and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop insight-driven, actionable, business recommendations that align with client marketing and business objectives.
  • Develop smart and research-based solutions (dashboards, sites) and/or presentations to enhance Google's reputation with clients as a consultant and trusted partner.
  • Acquire and share deep knowledge of marketing and advertising industry, its landscape, client products and key business challenges.
  • Work both individually and as a part of a bigger team.
