  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and across disciplines and teams to create opportunities for partners.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will demonstrate negotiation skills, effective executive communication, partner management and business judgment to support strategic partners and drive growth initiatives across the full suite of payment products. Your focus will be twofold: signing and enabling payment partners in Russia and effectively program managing and aligning internal teams and functions. You have a can-do attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves to do what it takes, can work in a rapidly changing industry and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

You will be responsible for cultivating new and existing partnerships with key partners, from financial services, to merchants, payment processors and transit operators. Your main role will be to ensure the growth of Google Pay in Russia by identifying new partners, renewing existing partnerships, optimizing relationships, executing agreements and ramping up opportunities. You have the experience, acumen and skillset to negotiate agreements and lead relationships, as well as an understanding of the payments landscape.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain direct relationships with key payments partners across finance, banking, e-commerce, retail, transit and more.
  • Develop roadmaps and work plans and track implementation of partnerships.
  • Drive cross-functional engagement with teams that include, but are not limited to Strategy, Finance, Product, Marketing and Operations toward optimal business outcomes.
  • Lead and execute agreements while driving forward partnerships.
