  • Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Business development experience at a media or tech company.
  • Project management experience with ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills regarding issues with partners.

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, and to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You're comfortable working on complex content agreements with partners, as well as working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube and to provide the best possible experience for our users.

You'll work on complex content agreements with partners, work cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube, and that users enjoy the best experience possible. You will also initiate and manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, field and prioritize incoming requests, troubleshoot partner systems around reporting, content management, content ID, and create periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize existing partnerships to improve business growth and user experience while maintaining direct relationships with key partners.
  • Identify new opportunities with existing partners by finding creative ways to jointly contribute to the partner’s overall goals in digital on YouTube.
  • Develop commercial video strategies with partners and work cross-functionally to ensure effective plan execution.
  • Deliver audience development and content strategy workshops to partners to grow their business on YouTube.
  • Develop agreements, interpret legal documents, and work to complete and sustain effective relationships with key external counterparts.
