Main responsibilities:

  • Management and control of BAT Russia transfer pricing (TP) risks, preparation of TP documentation for BAT Russia companies, supervising the TP reporting, contribute in formation of TP strategy, regulation of TP processes, support for non-BAU activities and cross-border transactions from TP perspective
  • Supervision of Group tax compliance applicable to Russia: analysis of requirements, changes and developments, proposing process and structure changes to ensure compliance for BAT Russia
  • Supervision of BAT Russia SOX compliance for corporate tax controls
  • Provide BAT Russia Departments with tax advice to maximize planning opportunities and to ensure proper compliance with tax laws, sustain high level of objectivity behind business decisions of BAT Russia legal entities by providing relevant analysis of the tax consequences to enable effective business management
  • Analyse the uncertain tax position and the tax implications for BAT Russia, develop mitigation steps
  • Manage regular BAT Russia profit tax forecast and Group tax reporting process for Russia, control over BAT Russia Effective tax rate, contribute to non-deductible expenses management
  • Management of Tax and transfer pricing disputes/litigations of BAT Russia legal entities with Russian tax authorities
  • Monitoring and reporting on amendments and changes in the Russian tax legislation, keep track and absorb changes to tax legislation and keep BAT Russia departments informed on the changes affecting their business including development and communication of BAT Russia tax function position
  • Review of agreements from tax perspective to be concluded by BAT Russia legal entities with related and third parties subject to approval by the tax function
  • Provide support to management of tax consulting spend, coordinate respective planning and reporting, documents' flow and payments


Main requirements:

  • 3-5 years specialized experience in BIG4 and/or FMCG Multinationals companies
  • Higher education degree in Economics/Finance
  • A highly developed knowledge of a wide range of taxation matters
  • Good knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulation
  • High potential, strong management and personal skills
  • Strong project management skills, ability to plan/prioritise work operating in multi-project environment; change management experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • English language proficiency ( min upper intermediate)
