Media Management Solutions Sales Executive (London, UK)

Our client, a London-based fast growing media management software company, is looking for a Media Management Solutions Sales Executive.


The company has developed a media logistics platform that removes the pain of creating and distributing video — from production through to delivery — across multiple platforms. It delivers this service to its clients on a managed service, on premise and cloud basis. Its clients are all blue chip, each having a significant branded position in their respective markets.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating and building leads into sales in the UK and Europe, fully assisted by lead generation, pre sales and technical support resources. The best candidate should possess exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills and a have a confident, persuasive manner.

We are looking for a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and exuding a professional demeanor.

Key Tasks

  • Converting leads into prospects
  • Pitching to prospects
  • Writing proposals and presenting to prospective clients
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Delivery of sales quota

Key Skills and Background

  • Strong consultative selling skills (we are not looking for «box shifters» or purely packaged, out of the box sales people.)
  • A new business hunter
  • Media technology and managed service background
  • Experience of selling software into the media sectors — studios, publishers, broadcast, post, advertising, gaming
  • Sales experience in SaaS and on premise
  • Experience of selling to both technical and creative stakeholders — the ability to explain complex technical terms in a simple way
  • Excellent written and numerical skills
  • Experience in reporting, presenting and documenting to a very high standard
  • Excellent presenting and pitching skills — experience of presenting to C-level individuals


  • Lively, outgoing, charismatic, energetic and motivated
  • Solid understanding of IT and software
  • An appreciation of media technologies (workflow, asset management, transcode and delivery)
  • Sharp and quick witted — able to respond to situations as required and also be able to make more strategic plans
  • Be able to sell technology solutions in a consultative manner
  • A good degree from a top tier university
