Associate M&A

Novus Capital specializes in M&A advisory for mid market transactions (10-200 USDm) in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States, and capital raising (from 1 USDm) for VC stage companies from VC/PE funds and HNWI. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Origination of M&A opportunities
• Preparation of commercial proposals, teasers, CIMs, financial models
• Participation in the preparation of transaction documents (term sheets, SPAs, APAs, SHAs and other contracts)
• Due diligence coordination
• Participation in negotiations
• Facilitating the signing and and closing M&A deals according to set targets 

LIKELY / NECESSARY EXPERIENTIAL BACKGROUND:

Over 3 years of experience in M&A, valuation or due diligence in BIG4 companies, investment banks or M&A advisory boutiques 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Higher Education in Economics or Finance in top Russian Universities (HSE, NES, MSU, FU, MGIMO are preferred)
• Strong corporate finance and valuation skills
• Understanding of M&A process and its key stages
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
• CFA Level 1 or 2, Master degree / MBA is a plus
• Fluent English
