The Role:

WorldQuant is seeking an outstanding Business Assistant. Working closely with the General Manager (GM) and the GM Office, the Business Assistant will support the team with administrative tasks to enable team members to focus on more specialized duties.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • General Manager support: calendar management, travel planning, expense reporting, and preparing reports
  • Coordinating meetings & calls: scheduling meetings and booking conference rooms, collecting and distributing agenda, preparing materials, taking and distributing meeting notes, keeping track of action items
  • Arranging surveys, analyzing survey results
  • Maintaining web pages and documentation
  • Ad hoc responsibilities that may arise from time to time

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Higher education
  • At least 2 years of experience as an administrative or business assistant
  • Good knowledge of verbal and written English (C1 level or higher)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can-do, positive demeanor
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, World, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with task tracking systems such as JIRA
  • Experience with Zoom
  • Strong work ethic

 

As a plus:

  • Experience with Confluence & Wiki
  • Global awareness (time zones, culture, logistics)
  • Familiarity with project management practices, including project and resource planning, status reporting, and issue tracking
