The client:The company is developing rapidly and is looking to hire a Finance Director to become a business partner to a sales-oriented local Managing Director and a trusted colleague to the senior management team in Europe.Reporting to: Managing Director Russia, dotted line to Regional CFO in Europe.The purpose of the job:The Finance Director is responsible for the financial well-being of the company in Russia by keeping day to day financial operations in accordance to the internal policies and procedures and the Russian law. The Finance Director plays a vital role in maintaining transparent communication process with the European HQ.The key responsibilities: Producing statements and reporting to management as well as managing current accounting work in IFRS and Russian GAAP on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Producing tax returns. Establishing taxation plan for best possible commercial usage of taxable income and losses between the HQ and the Russian company. Designing and implementing a financial settlement process with customers. Producing the annual and statutory accounts in IFRS and under the rules and formats of the Group. Following treasury and loans issues. Payroll control elements and coordination of external service providers. Ensuring and analysing operational management processes (sales and margins, monitoring indicators, budget process, basic KPI`s) and making reports. Regular budget forecasting based on business needs incl. preparation of annual budget & mid-term forecasts. Preparing and analyzing regular reporting for the senior management of the Group. Managing and maintaining relationships with banks and payment service providing companies. Encashment management. Coordinating internal and external auditors as well as tax authorities. Establishing policies for intercompany costing for services and products delivered between the parent company and the Russian company. Providing various recommendations to the senior management of the Group. Managing the Accounting Function including the management of the Accounting staff. Risk Management including managing the local Insurance requirements in line with the corporate guidelines. The requirements: Ability to work within multicultural atmosphere and manage multi-cultural client relationships with patience, transparency and fairness. A positive problem solving attitude. Strategic thinking. Degree in Finance. Extensive experience of finance management. Tenacity, precision, flexibility and diligence. Work well under strict deadlines and in a high-pressure environment on complex situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills incl. utmost secrecy.
