Chief Accountant

Description

Main responsibilities: Ensures compliance with statutory and US GAAP accounting requirements; prepares quarterly US and annual UK GAAP financial statements; Maintains Accounts payable and Petty Cash, prepares bank reconciliations, weekly cash reports; Supervises payroll; Maintains and controls General Ledger (GL); Maintains and controls the fixed assets and capital expenditures, calculates and prepares accounting entries of depreciation for US GAAP and local statutory booksж; Controls Accounts receivable and Time Sheets reimbursement; Accounts for intercompany transactions (invoices, payments), prepares appropriate documentation back up and reports on results; Reconciles Balance sheet accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis. Closes books in compliance with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines; Prepares and submits corporate taxes reports (Profit tax, VAT, property tax, etc); Prepares and submits payroll related taxes reports; Ensures accurate and timely filing of all tax reporting including preparation of the quarterly CPT and VAT returns according to local regulations; communication with the tax authorities. Requirements: Higher professional education, degree in accounting is required; At least 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant (preference to foreign companies and professional services companies); Experience working with 1C and other ERP; Fluent in English both written and oral; Sound commercial understanding understands role in context of broad business objectives; Systemized and methodical approach; Excellent planning and organizing skills, result orientation timely and accurate preparation of all reports and documents.
