Responsibilities: Overall organization and effective, task oriented management of the accounting department. Direct the tax activities, including the preparation, signing and filing of all tax returns, the maintenance of tax expense and liability accounts, and the timely payment of tax liabilities. Timely and correct preparation, signing and submission of statements, declarations and other documents to State Authorities in accordance to legal requirements in force. Signing documents in the competence of Chief Accountant. Financial reporting including monthly US GAAP reporting, management accounts, business plans, budgets and accountability to the Management. Upgrades of accounting and finance related systems, esp. budgeting tools, purchasing module, invoicing. Review, update, creation and implementation of general accounting policies and procedures. Signing off and performing controls as required by internal controls procedures of IM CIS. Execution of payments according to IM CIS internal procedures. Control over Company s assets esp. Cash, Fixed Assets, Stock, Prepayments and Receivables. Contact and cooperation with lawyers, tax advisors, auditors on financial, legal, tax issues arising. Provide analysis of contracts from financial, tax and legal perspective; supervision of contracts signed. Provide quarterly report on assigned tasks/projects progress as well as report on progress in annual objectives. Represent IM Russia in front of authorities (formal requests, checks and controls) Lead contact for internal and external audits for statutory financial data, manage entire process to satisfy data requests, answer to auditor s queries and develop action plans to close audit findings and support US GAAP audit to the extent needed based on statutory financials as basis for US GAAP adjustments Cooperation and informative/advisory function on financial and tax matters both to company Management and colleagues. Perform other tasks and projects assigned by Management within the scope of job responsibilities. Requirements: 2-3 years of relevant experience Strong sense of responsibility, mature, independent & self motivated. Good command of English & Russian
