The role:
Manage the finance and administration functions of the group of companies
Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate management and statutory accounts
Manage fundraising via active negotiations with major financial institutions and banks on increasing limits of credit facilities/reducing cost of financing.
Cashflow and busget managing on all levels.
Ensure efficient and effective management of all administrative functions including HR and payroll across all operating entities.
Participate as an integral part of the senior management team. Assist with the development and execution of the strategy.
Developing and overseeing risk management systems, farming systems and operational financial models; Participate in weekly Executive Committee meetings; Participate in Monthly Financial Review meetings with senior staff and with Asset Managers.
Develop strategies and systems to ensure the efficient and secure management and transfer of information between the business sites.
Manage IT requirements of the business
Develop and oversee risk management systems, financial models and budgeting processes to ensure that the development of operational budgets is carried out in an effective and timely manner;
Monitor budgets prepared for each of the assets and alert the senior management team when expenditures or revenues are trending outside approved levels;
Assist the CEO and COO to develop and execute a streamlined management and reporting system to build a culture with financial discipline and results focus.
Continually refine the operations of the computerized accounting system and develop KPIs to assist in measuring and monitoring the performance of the finance and administration team and the management of budgeting, purchase orders, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, balance sheet, reporting and operational KPI s;
Manage the land and property settlements for the Company. Work closely with internal and external legal to ensure the smooth integration of new property assets into the group;
Take responsibility for oversight of all insurance policies and conduct regular reviews to ensure appropriate insurance policies are in place to protect the Company and its investor's interests
Manage the fixed asset register of all Company controlled entities and work with the COO to ensure all assets are correctly identified and that the fixed asset register is up to date;
Your Profile:
High levels of integrity, financial management, solid corporate governance skills and transparent decision making
Background in Agribusiness/Farmin, or Food manufacturing industry at CFO level.
Strong communication skills with staff and key stakeholders;
Strong skills in financial reporting to boards and investors
RAS and IFRS experience along with demonstrable finance experience in large business
Fluent in English and Russian languages
Accounting degree and further education and/or qualifications in accounting.
