Country Tax Director

Responsibilities: Reporting to the company s CFO with functional reporting line to Head of Tax based at EU headquarters Participate in objective setting of Tax Plan, Internal Tax Policy and Strategy and Tax Advisory within company's entities within the Group Responsible for Effective Tax Rate Optimization, Transfer Pricing and Tax Audit Management Actively supports all external / Internal Tax Advisory Services Responsible for Tax Risk Management, Tax Reporting to Head of Tax (global region) and Local Head of Finance In charge of Tax Restructuring Projects within Kazakhstan Coordinate with Auditors on Tax Accounting & compliance matters Direct supervision of two Tax Managers Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws Directing work appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Key Requirements: Master Degree in Finance / Accounting or Law Tax Advisor or ACCA Certification will be an advantage Minimum 10 years of experience in International Tax, ideally within Big4 / Senior Management level (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG) or in a multinational group Russian and English language skills (written and spoken) at a professional level is required Project management (organizational and multi-tasking and decision making skills) Team leadership and supervisory experience MS Office, SAP would be an advantage Personal Characteristics: Leadership capabilities Presentation skills Ability to encourage and motivate the team Needs to be able to identify, understand and propose solutions Creative and flexible approach Proactive in management style and forward looking Ability to prioritize appropriately and reliably produce results Results oriented and persistent with a long-term commitment to both personal and business achievements and success, able to follow up Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strategic skills
