FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT RUSSIA

The main areas of responsibility:- Reports To: Finance Controller EMEA - Assume full responsibility for the financial reporting and stewardship of the business, ensuring timely and effective execution of their duties in an open and supportive manner- Monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting to strict deadlines including Balance sheet reconciliations- Establish and improve control over all processes to deliver accuracy and efficiency- Ensure that required agreements are in place, fully executed, to enable completion of all payments/transactions- Responsible for collection of all primary documents; customer/client interfaces, which has to be evidenced in monthly bookkeeping and accounting registries - Booking primary documents in SAP - using 1C for compliance; ensure full reconciliation and transparency between SAP preparation and filing of the Tax Returns: - Proposing ways to optimise taxes, execution and control over all stake holders. Taking responsibility for tax risks optimisation in line with local legislation and market practices of tax authorities- All CPT Returns, VAT Returns, Loan and banking reports, investment etc.- Monthly account reconciliations including sales, inventory, shipments, Cash Planning, Monthly package (comprising Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Breakdown of each account)- Ad hoc duties that arise and ongoing development of the roleKnowledge and Skills needed:- Relevant higher education, post-graduate degrees will be an advantage- At least 5 years of relevant finance experience in a international companies (including Russian accounting and international reporting)- Detailed knowledge of accounting, IFRS or US GAAP and Russian GAAP/ Tax rules and regulations- Previous experience of SAP - Fluent English is a must (in writing, reading and comprehension)- Creative problem-solver, rapid learner, flexible, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to a career within a financial environment- Comfortable communicating at all levels and building effective partnership with other departments- Comfortable working in a small, dynamic and non-corporate environment, driven by fast decision making- Experienced in working with external consultants, experts
