IB Director

Requirements: Either (i) an MBA plus 3+ years of investment banking experience as a VP from a top tier investment banking firm, or (ii) a bachelor s degree from an top-tier university plus 8-10 years of investment banking or corporate finance advisory experience Exceptional analytical and quantitative background skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently Ability to find and contact potential clients, with ability to build (or utilize existing) extensive network of potential clients and referral sources Entrepreneurial / desire to succeed Initiative must be a self-starter, able to work independently with drive and motivation Commercial outlook desire to make money in cooperation with and alongside the Firm Highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance and business ethics Responsibilities: Conduct business development activities to identify, source and introduce potential clients for M&A assignments Participate in the preparation of materials describing the business, market positioning and financial condition of clients Identify potential buyers and investors that might be interested in a client s business and participate in contacting these entities on behalf of the clients Develop a network of contacts in relevant fields that will assist the Firm in finding new client and expanding relationships with potential investors Supervise and mentor staff members
