Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Split 25% Origination and 75% Execution Responsible for incremental client coverage under MD / Director supervision Meet 'shadow budget' for designated relationship clients Sector liaison for M&A group Other duties as may be required from time to time Idea generation Preparation of pitches Transaction impact analysis Liaison with client re logistical matters on transactions QUALIFICATIONS and BACKGROUND REQUIRED: ESSENTIAL: Educated to Degree level in Economics or Quantitative discipline 5+ years at a Tier 1 institution in M&A / ECM role Relevant sector specific and EM experience desired Deal management experience cross sector and cross geographies Addition post graduate degree preferred Bloomberg proficiency Financial statements familiarity Excellent quantitative and technical reasoning skills Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word PREFERRED: Travel history to coverage markets LICENCE OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: FSA will be a plus COMPETENCIES: Strong writing, management, communication and influencing skills Highly motivated, dedicated, diligent and confident personality Excellent People management and Project Management skills Ability to think and work independently Ability to manage deliverables on concurrent projects Willingness to learn and take on increasing levels of responsibility
