INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE
Key member of the investment team who will support senior team members in all aspects of the investment process including origination, negotiations, due diligence, transaction structuring and portfolio management.

S8 CapitalResponsibilities:
- Conducting various industries research, identification of key drivers, players, trends, and potential targets;
- Evaluation of investment opportunities to provide preliminary investment review based on financial and strategic considerations;
- Building complex financial models (incl. LBO) to support the valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), sensitivity analysis and financial structuring;
- Preparation of investment memorandums, presentations, terms-sheets and other deal related materials;
- Coordinating diligence process with 3rd party advisors;
- Participation in negotiations with the sellers, advisors, co-investors and financial institutions;
- Support in managing portfolio companies, including preparation of value creation plans, directing strategic initiatives, reviewing monthly and quarterly financial and operational performance, assisting them on capital raises, credit financing and M&A transactions;
- Supervising work of junior team members: assigning tasks, providing timely and constructive feedback, shouldering responsibility for final deliverables.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters degree of one of a top-ranked local or international universities. CFA and / or other relevant courses would be a plus;
- Ideally 4-5 years of deal execution experience on the sell-side or buy-side in investment banking or private equity;
- Strong hard skills: financial modelling, business valuation, preparing of presentations;
- Ability to quickly structure massive amounts of data and communicate complex ideas;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent English;
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills;
- Result-oriented and able to achieve multiple objectives within a tight timeframe
