The opportunity:

PwC Russia’s Valuations & Economics team performs value analyses of business entities or stakes in businesses, intangible assets, real estate, machinery and equipment to address our clients’ requirements regarding mergers, acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations, financial reporting, strategic planning and other management decision-making.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

 

Education, experience and skills requirements:

  • Higher education (Russian or equivalent)
  • 1+ years work experience in business valuation projects / strategy projects / business plan development projects / strategic marketing;
  • Ongoing participation in and / or completion of one of the following professional qualifications is an advantage: ASA, RICS, ACCA, RSV (Russian statutory valuation certificates - SMAO, ROO)
  • Preparation proposals, presentations, information MEMO
  • Practical working knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to structure and build complex financial models / business plans
  • Knowledge of general valuation principles and standards, specifically IFRS, IVS
  • Strong numerical & financial analytical skills and knowledge
  • Russian – native/fluent, English – Upper-Intermediate (both oral and written)

  • Ability to operate in multitask environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Availability for overtime work and tough deadlines
  • Willingness to travel (Russia and abroad)
  • Business writing skills (both in Russian and in English)
