Local Finance Director

Function: Responsible for governance and control of the company, owning the company books, manage risk and minimize financial exposure. Together with the GM and management team, secure business performance and compliance with rules regulations both from group and company perspective as from a local regulatory perspective Location: Core Responsibilities: Manage and govern financial performance of the company, ensure quality and integrity in monthly closing and reporting s as well as insurance of a deep understanding of the business and analytical capabilities. Sparring partner to local GM and other business area responsible Active involvement in business operations, pricing, cost, efficiency and drive performance. Responsibility to evaluate business opportunities in current operations as well as identifying new opportunities via KPI s and benchmarks Good understanding of product cost and product calculation Forecast business results and prepare profit plan based on facts and well defined assumptions. Secure and safeguard transparency of financial performance Secure legal reporting, requirements, including tax reporting, and tax compliance. Manage cash planning, liquidity and funding and ensure communication Secure adequate internal control environment within finance and support internal control matters in other areas of the company. Actively participate in any M&A activities, prepare and evaluate investment requests, validate business cases and provide project support and project evaluation. Manage and host external auditors.
