Mid-level Portfolio Manager

The role: Optimize and run trading strategies for institutional and private clients. Assist trading desk in daily client requests. Perform investment research and build new investment models. Generate and back test new trading ideas in medium to low frequency trading space. Report directly to senior management. Requirements: Be able to demonstrate understanding of trading strategy development cycle. Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or a similar quantitative subject area. At least 2 years within a front office position in a buy or sell side institution. Working knowledge of risk management tools and methodologies. Experience with Futures and Options is a must. Experience in time series and data analysis strongly preferred. R, Matlab, Python or other high-level programming language knowledge is a big plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
