Description

Requirements:

  • Fully Licensed Russian Lawyer with at least 4 years experience in an international law firm and/or company within the Automotive Industry.
  • Broad knowledge in several legal fields related to automotive business in Russia.
  • Experience from working abroad and/or international educational background preferred
  • Strong relationship management and client satisfaction
  • Excellent command/highly proficient in spoken and written Russian and English language
  • Mobility required

 

Responsibility:

  • Legal advice and support to company.
  • Contractual relationships as well as the handling of warranty claims and legal disputes, including recommendations in accordance with the interest of the employer.
  • Together with the managers in charge of the business and in cooperation with external counsels; Review, negotiate and manage the respective contracts, including all accompanying legal documents and amendments.
  • Legal documents systematization, registration and maintenance, including data base maintenance and timely initiation of contract prolongations.
  • Developing and providing input to regional organizational structures, best business practices, policies and processes (including training and communication) in order to optimize resource allocation, support company- and business needs, increase efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Developing and strengthen relationships with regional business partners.
  • Communication and negotiation with external parties (customers, public authorities, external counsels etc.).
  • Handling litigations and taking part in settlement negotiations.
  • Internal consulting on legal matters.
  • Monitoring of changes in legislation and timely informing the employer.
  • Translation / verification of translation of legal documents from/to English language.
  • Provide training and education of business people for relevant topics.
  • Any other duties in accordance with the legislation, the needs of the employer and the discretion of the Head of HR & Legal.

Legal services are delivered through a matrixed team. The Senior Legal Counsel will functionally report to the respective legal leadership functions outside Russia and will be embedded in the global legal team.
