Analyst, Investment Strategy - VTB Capital Research

VTB Capital is searching for the individual to join us as an Analyst, VTB Capital Research, Investment Strategy – Equities.

Mission and Responsibilities:As a Junior Strategist, your role is to assist the Senior Strategist in analyzing data, producing published material and leading the development of infrastructure for the Equities research product. The team now has one senior and one junior strategist and the role seeks to fill the gap in the top-down part of the strategy product. You will preferably be a graduate in Economics, Finance or Mathematics and have fluency in English, with good programming skills.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record with Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a relevant field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Russian
• Genuine interest in financial markets
• Comfortable multi-tasking and working under pressure

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience in financial markets
• Programming skills
• Interest and knowledge in modern means of presenting information
