MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support in establishing, developing and growing the Firm s M&A Advisory business across New Markets to meet strategic/budget objectives
Identify and analyze M&A opportunities
Provide M&A, corporate advisory services and transaction support including valuations, due diligence, feasibility studies, etc
Pursuing and closing M&A deals according to set targets
Idea generation
Preparation of pitches
Transaction impact analysis
Liaison with client re logistical matters on transactions
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Educated to Degree level in Economics or Quantitative discipline
Addition post graduate degree preferred
Data bases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thompson) proficiency
Financial statements familiarity
FSA registered
Excellent quantitative and technical reasoning skills
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
English language - full professional proficiency!
NECESSARY EXPERIENTIAL BACKGROUND:
[Min 4-year] experience at a Tier 1 institution in M&A role
Relevant sector specific and EM experience desired
Deal management experience cross sector and cross geographies
COMPETENCIES:
Strong corporate finance, valuation technics
Understanding of M&A process, its key stages, transaction documentation (SPA, SHA, etc)
Strong writing, management, communication and influencing skills
Highly motivated, dedicated, diligent and confident personality
Ability to think and work independently
Ability to manage deliverables on concurrent projects
Willingness to learn and take on increasing levels of responsibility
