BCS Global Markets is the Global Markets and Investment Banking division of BCS Financial Group. The latter was launched to build an institutional business on its existing strengths in the Russian markets, and since June 2012, offers prime services and global markets business lines to institutional clients in Russia and internationally.

General requirements:

  • higher education (in finance/economics);
  • 3 Year + Experience;
  • fluent English;
  • good knowledge of relevant legislation of the RF, the Republic of Cyprus and the United Kingdom in the field of AML / KYC;
  • good grasp of back office programmes and managing client data (for example: QORT, OMS, EGUS, ALERT, SalesForce);
  • FFMS qualification certificates 1.0, 4.0;
  • have a successful history of delivering significant projects.

Job description:

  • development (description, approval and introduction) of work processes relating to the management of account opening procedures (development of instructions and methods of work with customers/counterparties (residents/non-residents);
  • establishing and maintaining relationships with customers (residents/non-residents) (participation in negotiations, consultations for potential customers on how to open accounts in different jurisdictions, analysis of incorporation documents, control over submission of incorporation documents, opening of brokerage/custody accounts, initial consultations for customers on issues relating to services provided by the Group’s companies, execution, provision and monitoring of missing documents, provision of necessary comments to customers concerning the documents of the Group’s companies, the tariffs, customer consultations when executing different documents to the address of the Company);
  • establishing and maintaining relationships with the Company’s counterparties (residents/non-residents) (participation in negotiations, consultations for potential counterparties on how to open counterparty accounts in different jurisdictions, KYC and AML procedures, initial analysis of incorporation documents, control over submission of incorporation documents, monitoring of submission of incorporation documents, opening of accounts);
  • arranging the signing of agreements with counterparties/customers;
  • liaise and take ownership of risk framework surrounding the company's onboarding/KYC strategies for institutional clientele around the world;
  • information support of sales desks;
  • maintaining statistical records for senior managers via SF;
  • interaction with units engaged in internal control over professional securities market participants (in the Republic of Cyprus, the RF, the United Kingdom) when opening accounts for potential customers by the foregoing professional participants;
  • maintaining electronic document workflow relating to customers/counterparties of the GMIB Directorate;
  • interaction with related subdivisions of professional securities market participants (risk management, legal support, department for keeping internal records of transactions and operations) (in the Republic of Cyprus, the RF, the United Kingdom);
  • project related activities;
  • as a team member provide effective and innovative solutions to harmonize processes and standards and boost efficiency throughout the organization;
  • as a team member provide strategic insight and advice to various lines of business and directly manage the expectations of the internal stakeholders.
