Emerging Markets Fixed Income Credit Analyst

JOB FUNCTION: Performing extensive fundamental analysis of Investment Grade and High Yield issuers across the emerging and developed markets. Analysis encompasses financial modeling, as well as capital structure, liquidity and recovery value assessments; Generating event-driven and relative value investment ideas; Advising on HY and stressed/distressed portfolios within a framework of established investment guidelines; Other functionalities include support of the firm's trading desk operations with short- and mid-term analysis in Eurobonds focusing on emerging markets.QUALIFICATIONS: Hands-on experience in building detailed models for 2nd and 3rd tier corporate debt issuers, capital structure (Waterfall) analysis, recovery analysis, covenant analysis and analysis of overall creditworthiness; Must have an understanding of corporate finance, fixed income securities, interest rate environment, and the mechanics of capital markets; Excellent verbal and written communication skills is the must (English and Russian) 2+ year experience in a bank/investment company's research department or similar.GENERAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Non-standard way of thinking, genuine creativity; Ability to assert own point of view; Ability to work well under pressure and employ sound decision making skills; Work well with diverse tasks; Strong problem solving detail-oriented skills and an ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities; Self-starter with solid team skills and а winning can-do, will do attitude.
