Finance Controller Russia

Key tasks and responsibilities:Within our Russian subsidiary the Finance Controller, reporting in full line to the plant manager is mainly responsible for: Management reporting for Russia, together with the Chief Accountant Assist the Chief Accountant in the statutory reporting for Russia Financial advisor to the local management and the HQ management board Act as the business conscience of the company Perform ad-hoc analysis Follow up projects and report to local and HQ management Implement continuous improvement plans (IT, operational, ) Within the group the Finance Controller, reporting in dotted line to the Group Controller, is responsible for the gathering of information, the analysis, interpretation, and preparation of key management reports and supports key decision makers with accurate information for the group.You establish and maintain an appropriate management information system and prepare analysis and interpretation of results and preparation of key management reports and presentations in time. You perform pro-active and on demand in depth financial analysis and advice the group controller and management accordingly.As Finance Controller you monitor all operating costs and capital expenditures to ensure all internal and group approvals are received and related corporate governance requirements are met. You also develop and maintain strong professional and close working relationship with key personnel in Accounting, Sales, Sourcing and Production to provide financial support.Finally you assist in the preparation of the Business Plan and steering of planning/budget and appraisal cycles; maintain and improve budget and forecast models. You ensure compliance with local and Group requirements in all areas of business.Profile:You hold a master degree with specialisation in Controlling and/or Accounting. You have a solid knowledge of RAS and of IAS. You have a minimum of three years professional work experience in an international production environment as chief accountant or finance controller. You have excellent analytical skills and you are an experienced user of Excel, 1C and reporting tools (BO and INFOR). Our future Finance Controller has good communication skills : fluent in English (spoken and written), other languages are an asset (Dutch, French, German)You are a strong and self-starting personality and you are able to work independently and to get things done (execution power). You are a team player and open minded.Ability to maintain a general overview but also having a hands on mentality combined with good common sense is necessary. Clear understanding of Finance processes in a multinational company.
