IFRS Specialist

The responsibilities:-Assist Finance Director in the timely review/analysis of quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards ( IFRS ) from the accounts prepared according to Russian Accounting Practice and local legislations,-Review/analyze and consolidate monthly management report packages from the operating units,-Work in liaison with operating units to collect, review, consolidate and critically comment on annual budgets, monthly performance against them, and revision of them when necessary,-Review payment requests to ensure that they have been properly authorized, are in line with the budget, are being made to authorized vendors according to valid contracts,-Work with SAP programmers to ensure that the capabilities of the system are being utilized to avoid manual work, participation in SAP developing,-Review and consolidate cash flow statements submitted by the operating units on a regular basis, and oversee needs for funds by working together with the treasury analyst,-Take part in coordination of external audits,-Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary.The requirements:-Fluency in English, written and spoken,-Degree in Finance, Economics or Fccounting,-Knowledge of IFRS,-Sound computer skills (MS-Office, any ERP system preferably SAP),-Strong communication skills, ability to work individually and in a team,-High analytical skills, ability to work with dead-lines.Additional information:The company offers a competitive salary defined individually after the interviewPlease note: As we receive a high volume of applications every day regretfully we are only able to respond to appropriate candidates who will be contacted within two weeks.
