Investment Analyst

Description:

A&NN Group is an investment company with extensive footprint across Russia and Europe and a diversified portfolio including retail, fintech, consumer, tech/startup, crypto and liquid assets.

As a member of A&NN you will be actively involved in all stages of the investment process related to the growth of the group's business. Due to the small size of the team, each analyst is actively involved in the ongoing work of asset management and the development of new investment opportunities - from searching to structuring deals. A potential candidate is expected to have a well-developed set of hard skills (high-level financial modeling, working with project presentations) and general skills in interacting with colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio Support:

• Maintain close relationships with portfolio companies, stay up-to-date on their progress, and provide high-impact support as needed
• Prepare financial models and valuations of existing portfolio companies as well as respective marketing materials
• Assist the team with operations, team events, and other tasks day-to-day tasks as needed

Deal Sourcing:

• Identify and capture quality investment opportunities within the traditional venture capital and web3 ecosystem (founders, investors, accelerators, etc.)
• Update internal deal system and maintain project materials repository

Due Diligence:

• Facilitate and manage communication with founders from the first contact till the closure of the deal
• Prepare investment memos and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to investment team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, finance or technical background (e.g., computer science) a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in BIG4, IB, Venture Capital, Research, Consulting, or related fields
• Outstanding technical skills - financial modeling and presentation skills
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and passion for learning
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to form independent opinions
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with founders, investors, and partners
• Passion for technology and trends
• Advanced English
