Investment Associate

Duties:

• Sourcing and selection of investments
• Qualifying investments, preparing them for the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors (responsible for monetization strategy, financial modelling, risk analysis)
• Handling the end-to-end process of closing a deal, handling negotiation with founders and existing investors
• Regular engagement with portfolio companies, cultivating a trust-worthy relationship with founders, regularly tracking business milestones and communicating with the start-up
• Assisting in preparing business cases for strategic partners and materials for investors
• Advising on the tactics start-ups require to hit their fundraising goals
• Building relationship with founders, investors & VCs

Requirements:

• Higher technical / economic (NES, HSE, MIPT, MSU, MGIMO, MSTU, FA)
• Work experience of at least 3 years in an investment bank / boutique, private equity fund, venture fund, strategic consulting, Big4
• Experience in corporate finance and investment analysis
• Extensive knowledge and top judgement
• Analytical mind able to qualify and understand different concepts and business models
• Enthusiasm for and interest in technology and its applications, good knowledge in technology trends, start-ups and digital
• Strong communications skills required to share the results of analyses and discuss problems with a variety of audiences and develop relationships with top entrepreneurs
• Loves working autonomously and takes initiative
