INVESTMENT BANKING ASSOCIATE

RIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Full involvement in all stages of execution of M&A advisory transactions Lead Investment Banking Analyst team Participate in due diligence process Interact with clients and investors on live transactions on routine matters Conduct market analysis, identify market trends, opportunities for acquisition, and keep abreast of key news events and behavior of major firms and M&A activity Pitch book: Creation and responsibility at every stage of the pitch book including valuation analysis, variance analysis, identify similar transactions as point of reference, pricing Perform valuation and financial modeling based on DCF, comparables, precedent transactions and other applicable valuation approaches, prepare merger models and conduct accretion/dilution analysis Prepare further marketing materials including elevator pitch, information memorandum, board presentations, MI reports Actively support senior staff through to deal execution Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment Investors list management REQUIRED BACKGROUND: Prior work experience as an Analyst or Associate at a top investment banking firm Track record of successfully closed M&A transactions MBA is preferred Honors degree from a top-tier university CFA is a substantial advantage DESIRED EXPERIENCE SKILLS: Ability to handle high workload and work under pressure Proficiency in financial modeling techniques using Excel Very strong verbal and written skills in English Ability to prepare and deliver clear, effective and professional presentations A proactive approach to life, IB corporate culture adherer Lead the work of others and provide training, coaching and mentoring High level of energy and flexibility with a positive, team oriented can-do attitude Strong interpersonal relationship skills are critical.
