Client Onboarding is part of Operations Data Quality Management (ODQM) business unit.
As a member of the global Client Onboarding organization, the individual will specialize in the review of AML/KYC documentation to ensure compliance with the firmwide requirement to ultimately assist with the approval of new business relationships for the Russia/CIS institutional business. The individual will work directly with existing and prospect clients and sales team in a fast paced environment that requires high level of precision and accuracy. The ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and communicate to all levels of the organization, including sales, legal and compliance, is critical.
Responsibilities
Perform client due diligence in line with the Know Your Customer (KYC) concept complying with both the firmwide and local regulations
Develop expertise in the Firm s Anti Money Laundering/Customer Identification due diligence policies
Communicate with internal and external clients to obtain relevant documentary requirements in line with policies and procedures
Regular maintenance of client due diligence information for AML purposes
Clients KYC queries support
Filing and maintain up to date clients documentation
Work closely with local and global teams to ensure Client Onboarding case review targets are on track
Propose and act on process improvements/efficiencies
Perform capacity and authority reviews as necessary
Support of other Moscow Operations functions (Regulatory and transaction reporting, etc)
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of Russian AML specifics across various entity types and legal structures
Knowledge of local and international regulatory framework in the client onboarding space
Knowledge of corporate documentation
Substantial knowledge of financial markets and products
Accuracy and highest attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Russian and English
Strong analytical skills and organizational skills
Prudent in escalating of potential risk to the Firm
Ability to deliver while working under pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change and new challenges, including using best judgment to prioritize work flows
Effective team-player with ability to impact and influence across organization and levels
Strong client service orientation, willingness and ability to forge strong relationships with colleagues and clients
Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
