Venture Fund Trainee

Buran Venture Capital is a venture fund founded in 2010 targeting to invest US$ 30m over the course of the next 4-5 years in Russia, CIS and Israel. BVC invests from US$ 500k to US$ 3m in a single portfolio company. Key areas of value creation include strategy, corporate finance, fundraising, HR, financial controls and leveraging our relationship network.General functions: The Trainee will become the part of the highly professional team, which is largely responsible for representation of shareholders interests in potential portfolio companies and increasing value of current ones. The Investment Analyst will be involved in key activities: Search for new start-up projects; Analysis of potential investment opportunities (including preparation of financial models); Due diligence; Value creation for portfolio companies: strategy, finance, sales Working on exits from portfolio companies. The person: Education/Certification: From 0 to 2 years of work experience in direct investments, investments banking, financial research, corporate finance or audit with one of the major international consulting or investment banking firms or one of BIG4; Higher educational degree in finance or economics in progress. Any additional professional degrees from a reputable international association or business school would be of high preference; Excellent English language skills; Excellent analytical skills.
