Intern - Research

You’ll work as research intern or junior research analyst in our Moscow office



  • Student in last year of studies with an excellent academic record or recent graduate
  • Available for full-time work
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
  • Skilled in the collection, analysis and synthesis of information
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment with people at all levels in an organization
  • Fluent in spoken and written English



You’ll work as research intern or junior research analyst in our Moscow office.

You’ll be part of our global knowledge network, which includes more than 1,800 knowledge professionals who work alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge. 

You will work with this group to help develop, codify, sanitize, and manage our global knowledge portal, which includes more than 50,000 documents that form the backbone of our firm's knowledge management.



You will perform a range of research tasks, including collecting statistics and other information and modeling market behavior. 

Over time, you will develop expertise in one or more areas and help the firm build its knowledge base in these areas. You’ll provide our clients and consultants with insights on various industries in Russia and CIS countries. Your work will be multifaceted and exciting, and you will gain insights into many industries and topics.

Through your project-based work and collaboration with your colleagues, you will deal with new intellectual challenges daily. You’ll develop your understanding of industries and functions on an ongoing basis. A clearly defined career path will help you continuously develop your skills.

Please note that both of these roles, including the intern position, are permanent entry-level full-time positions within McKinsey’s Knowledge Network. Full-time availability and dedication to research are expected.
